Communication of Heritage:

conclusion of training activities

Family photo: course's participantsThe final workshop in Milan offered the chance to assess the activity’s results, to discuss about the lessons learned, and to start the definition of possible operational follow-ups.

On 29 February 2009 participants in the course "Communication of Heritage" met in Milan, within the premises of IULM University, for the final workshop of the training programme.

The workshop was intended to allow a common discussion between organisers, trainers and trainees about the course's proceedings and results. As such, the meeting offered the chance to draw a first balance of the activity, highlighting good practices as well as critical aspects to be possibly tackled in the development of future trainings.

In particular, participants confirmed their interest and appreciation for the initiative, which was considered a very useful breakthrough to the subject. A common wish was also voiced for a continuation of the training, accompanied by several suggestions for possible follow-up actions.

In conclusion of the workshop, the trainees were awarded a certificate of attendance by Marie-Paule Roudil, Head of Culture Section at UNESCO Venice Office; Prof. Stefano Rolando, Secretary General of IULM Foundation; and Prof. Michele Trimarchi, scientific coordinator of the course.
